FULL INSTALLATION SERVICE (Lawns and play areas)

As a rough guide, assuming a straightforward lawn installation with easy access and good ground conditions, the cost of a 20 square metre (5 metre x 4 metre or 16 feet by 13 feet) fully installed lawn using one of our most popular grasses would range from around £720 to £1,000. This includes VAT and an estimated delivery charge.  Delivery costs may vary depending on the grass you choose and your location.  You can get a rough estimate of the price range for your size of lawn from these figures.

Full installation includes stripping existing grass; labour; preparation and compaction of the area; laying a sand base; excavating basic drainage channels where required; putting down a weed barrier membrane; joining and shaping the grass where necessary; securing the grass; and (with some grasses) top dressing with sand.  A hardcore/aggregate sub-base is not always required, but if it was a small additional charge would be applied to cover the materials and labour involved. 

FULL INSTALLATION SERVICE (Golf Putting Greens)

The standard cost of a putting green is more difficult to estimate when compared to other types of installation, due to the number of variables involved.  The same options are available from full installation to supply only (with instructions).  A green can be any size you like.  A fully installed 20 square metre green with 3 holes (5 metres x 4 metres or 16 feet by 13 feet) would cost around £950 to £1,150, based on our most popular surfaces.  This includes VAT and an estimated delivery charge.  Delivery costs may vary depending on the grass you choose and your location.

SUPPLY ONLY

If you wish to install your own grass, we would be happy to supply you with the grass of your choice from the range of products we have available and provide you with written, step-by-step installation instructions.

SEMI-INSTALLED SERVICE

As a compromise and to help achieve lower costs, you may wish to do some of the work yourself, perhaps ground preparation, with Scotgreens perhaps supplying the grass and fitting it. The price would obviously vary with the amount of work you ask us to do.  The choice is yours!
